Did any of you guys pick up this series. I bought it on ebay and while not the most historically accurate it was entertaining and I did enjoy the artwork.

I read it and really enjoyed it. As a collector and fan of Rock, it was good to see a resurgence of the character. Nick

I can't say much about it as much of it is still hugh-hush, but there will be another SGT Rock series (6 issues, I'm pretty sure) scheduled for next spring. It's in the works right now with DC comics, that's about all I can say at this point as I'm helping out with the details with the writers and artists...

Excellent news I will be sure to pick it up. One complaint though...the helicopter that picked them up in the end? ??

i grew up on sgt. rock and haunted tank ,etc..(big suprise there).....love the stuff... yeah same here- sure wish I still had all those comics Thanks for the link p51! That is way cool! Although I have to admit I'm a bit skeptical, he talks about Joe Kubert, personally I always preferred Russ Heath's G.I. Combat and Sgt Rock than Kuberts work. His sketches are very encouraging though. I'm also glad to see a movie is still in the works!

I'm also glad to see a movie is still in the works! From what I understand of this, I think the movie project has been dead for quite some time now and that the plot that's going to be used for this series is pretty much the plot the movie was going to have. I have read the entire plot for this series (Billy wanted my feedback) and I like what I see so far. There won't be any helicopters in this series, I can assure you. Also, he's dealing with some pretty well-educated folks on this and his ID'd his subject matter experts who are giving him proper guidance on this. More info with photos are here. I was shocked to see my name listed in one of Billy's posts! forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=129941
