I know this has been talked about before but just a heads up. I purchased some of the thin plastic helmets from Cushman paintball knowing they would be flimsy and cheap. I didn't realize HOW flimsy and cheap but that's my fault. In order to make them useable I had to splatter them with resin paste, sprinkle kitty litter on it to create a texstured cork effect and still mount them on liners to have any hope of them looking okay or lasting. They are really really bad. The only thing taht makes any sense is a Kraut airborne helmet and even then I'd say step up to the plate and get something better as soon as you can.
I blew it again and bought a couple of tripods he advertises. I knew they wouldn't be high quality but again he amazed me with his base farbiness. Yikes they are embarassing Does he have no pride? For the dollars you can't complain they are very low cost and for the work they took to make I shouldn't complain.
Perhaps the one legitimate comment that I should make is that with both orders it took forever to get the items and required complaints on my part. I truly think he waits until things are ordered and paid for before he actually decides to make them. There is nothing wrong with this practice if the customer knows that's the case and is prepared for it.
I post this so others will be forewarned. My feeling is you get what you pay for and in the grand scheme of things that's only fair but remember you're not paying much! Slockey stuff delivered very slooooowly.
