I know there's a whole warning thread and series of comments against them as the biggest rip off artists in the airsoft universe but I'm curious if anyone has had a first hand bad experience? Everything is second third or fourth hand. Their prices aren't especially cheap which is usually the biggest tip off that someone is trying to hook ya. Who has a first hand problem with this vendor. Not that i wouldn't heed the warnings and stay away but I'm just curious. Sometimes a vendor gets flamed by a competitor and supports it with enough bad feedback that the rumor becomes fact in everyones mind and the business is essentially ruined. In the age of the Internet it's easy to control publicity both good and bad.
I don't consider posts on Arnies to be impecable, know all, be all sources of info. That's seems to be where the bad publicity about WWii airsoft sprung from.

I am aware of a couple people who seem to have succeded in purchasing items from them.
I think the real hatred comes from when those same people discover the actual market value of the item they bought.
the only thing that scares me about them, is that they are very secretive of their location.
Im curious, has anyone here bought anything from them? -Gordak

well from what i know, the big problem with the shop is that the guy that runs it. have run other "scam" shop's in HK before.
and he is a notorius scam artist and have taken alot of money up thru the years form airsofters.

So what's the verdict on the Thompson order? You certainly should have received it by now?

Thanks for the follow-up. Glad you finally got your gun but the timeframe and hassle are major red flags from a first hand source. Wonder why the delays and hassle over such a common place item as a marui Thompson?
Enjoy the Thompson. I'm sure you'll love it. I have really enjoyed mine.
