I'm looking for a good vendor who sells mid/low cap m14 mags that are capable of being converted to shortened mags for 2nd bats garand. I've heard that king arms mags will not work. the main requirements im looking for are cheap prices, package deals if avalable, and companies located in the us. any feedback woudl be greatly appreciated.

I just got in a large order of Deepfire low cap M14 magazines from Redwolf. The price was a mere 7.95 a piece but with shipping for 20 of them at $63.00 they ended up at a net cost of around $11.00 a piece. That's cheap compared to Marui low caps and honestly they are an exact clone. I sadly couldn't get the mid cap magazines to work in a shortened version. I tried and ruined several trying. I have no idea why they didn't work but they just wouldn't feed at all. I tried trimming the tip as some folks suggested but that only made it worse.

I did two as carefully as I could and was excited since they held 24 rounds which was I was hoping for. No matter what I did they wouldn't feed. Boy was I bumbed. Redwolf is the best source for Deepfire mags at least for now. I have had great luck with them.
