It appears to me to be a tank destroyer with some updated mods (post WW2) M-36 Jackson? Just a guess I'm sure Gordack will help us out on that. Cool indeed! Very appropriate for your wind cheater!

For y'all who are still highschool age, there is a prom idea for you. I almost ended up rentin' a halftrack to take me an' my buds to prom a couple years back.

So the Yugoslavians added overhead cover. (Which some units in the US did late in the war)and apparently different tracks with grousers for track extensions. There also appear to be different light guards. Is it still a 90mm gun? or did the Yugoslavians alter them to a different Caliber? I remember seeing M-36s during coverage of the Bosnia expedition. Will your museum be able to retore it back to it's WW2 splendor (at least visually?)

yeah, the roof bolts on/off and the headlight armor is getting torch cut off. Its actually going to be an exact replica of the personal vehicle, one of our board members, who drove it in 1944. He is overseeing the restoration, and he plans to drive it!!! Yeah its got the ww2 90mm gun in it. it got a yugo engine thats 300 extra horse power!, so the thing really moves. -Gordak

That's extremely impressive. I have never had an issue with modern running gear other then in the most pristine restorations. I'd rather see a vehicle fully operational then a completely accurate monument.

i agree on that ...most times i see alot of vehicles at a public battle, most are down by the end of the day..sound like it would perform as well as an M18 hellcat,my favorite..

Liking the new avatar Gordak. Yeah i'm trying to decide on whether to go after a history degree in hopes of being a museum curator, or go with the original plan of aerospace engineering.
