Ok Troops, This is a friendly reminder that this forum is for the encouragement and support of WWII Airsoft Reenacting. What that means is we are all here to discuss, sometimes debate, but always assist each other in furthering the sport and creating a accurate WWII military impression based on the brave and valiant fighting forces engaged in the Second World War. Open discussion, sharing of ideas and healthy debate are encouraged because that is how we learn and get better at this hobby- What will not be tolerated or allowed are negative, abusive, or just plain mean comments or posts regarding a members impression, ideas, or opinions. .......that is what the Mods are here for Seriously- there are over 200 members of the WW2AA community currently and growing everyday- so we will have very little patience with individuals that seek to distract, destroy or defame this board and its members. We are all here presumably for the same thing- to promote and participate in an exciting *new Airsoft sport, WWII Airsoft Reenacting- Your WW2AA General's Staff require that everyone of its members and fellow soldiers treat each other with the utmost respect and courtesy befitting officers and enlisted men. That is all, Carry on -G

Here are a couple courtesy reminders relative to listing and buying things in the impression marketplace. Sales are transactions between members. The site simply provides an instrument for these two parties to discover one another. The site in no way endorses either the buyers or the sellers and this site in no way can be held responsible for disatisfactions on anyones part. Liability for this service is limited to the amount charged for the service. (FREE)
Here are a couple of rules for listing and selling. (Common courtesy if you will.) Listing will be restricted to articles pertinent to WW2 airsoft. (period uniforms and clothing, gear, ww2 collectibles and period pertinent airsoft wepons. (No modern airsoft weapons, gear or live firearms are to be promoted here.)
Sellers should describe their items with accurate details and avoid misrepresentations via "ommissions" If there are known flaws they should be included in the descripion. An asking price is highly encouraged. Whenever possible pictures or links should be provided. Shipping should be actual costs or very close to avoid the appearance of gouging on shipping after the sale is finalized.
The seller listing an item should closely monitor the site while the item is listed so he/she can respond promptly to inquiries. If the item is sold this fact should be announced promptly so other interested parties will know.
Once a sale is finalized payment should be handled promptly and once funds are received the item should be shipped promptly. Neither end of the transaction should take longer then a week at the extreme. If delays by the buyer or seller are anticipated this should be fully discussed and agreed upon by both the buyer and the seller before the transaction is agreed upon. Viable buyers should be accomodated in the chronological order in which they are receieved. (First come first served)
If there is a concern these should be discussed via PM. If issues can't be resolved this is still between the seller and buyer so nothing other then facts should be posted in the thread. No slander. personal attacks or negative remarks. Keep every comment limited to the facts at hand.
If an offer is made and accepted by a buyer this should be honored by both. If a asking price is presented and the potential buyer PMs a lower offer this is up to the seller to accept or reject. Until agreed upon by the seller the item remains up for sale. If a buyer states he want the item, this suggests that there are no contingencies. Buyers remorse camouflaged by a request for more details is bush league. Ask you questions before offering to buy it or make an offer.
Only make offers you are prepared to back up. Only request additional information or photos if you legitimately are interested and able to buy the item. Sellers as a courtesy to the buyers should let them know when funds are received and Buyers as a courtesy to the seller should let them know when the item is received.
If you see a listing and believe the price is either too high or too low comment about that via PM. Only send PMs on items you are genuinely interested in acquiring and only if you are able to purchase the item. Do not flame an ad or a members pricing. If they choose to ask too much it probably won't sell and they will either withdraw it or ask less over time. No one needs comments from the peanut gallery about their asking price expecially from folks not in a position to buy the item anyway. This si just common courtesy.
The marketplace has served our members well and few problems over the years have presented themselves. Let's keep this a community of players who like airsoft itself and the service men we represent appreciate the meaning of "HONOR"

Also note that promotion of events other than WW2 themed are not acceptable on this site other than the thread on NON WW2 events.
