..........and no its not about the barrel wobble, and no its not about the bolt, and no its not about the M1928 conversion kit.
What I have a question about is, how would I go about making a 50rnd drum mag. Now I know that no one makes a drum mag for an AEG, but that one company that makes the springer Thompsons does make a springer drum mag. I want to know how would I convert that into a mag to be used in the Tokyo Marui. I heard somewhere that you can take the 190rnd hicap and stick it into the springer drum mag but how do you do this and what conversions to the srpinger drum mag do you have to make to fit in the 190rnd mag, also is there anything I would have to do to the 190rnd mag to make it fit the spring drum mag.
Now before you guys say anything I got my parents to buy me the Mosquito Molds M1928 conversion kit for this upcomeing christmas, how do I know this (because they gave me the credit card and I ordered it myself) ;D

Glad to hear you joined the M1928 owners club, now you get the official userbar...any who.
I'm not totally sure, but it seems like you'd have to cut some sort of slot into the drum for the mag. After you got it in there you'd probably just have to fill some gaps with some sort of filler and see if it works. It may sound simple, but like most things that sound simple, I could turn out to be pretty damned complicated. However, if it works, you have a damn cool peice to go along with that Marine kit of yours. I see those spring drums up on eBay everyonce and a while if you're looking for one. You may also be able to land a real-steal mag for cheap.
On a side note, IMA used to sell the verticle foregrips for 15 bucks, but I don't see them on the site anymore.

I have modded a TM hi-cap to fit the springer drum mag for a m1928. My drum mag also holds the nicads for the gun and the stock is removable by push button like the real M1928 (and the springer). I strarted with the taller hi cap but as you can see it is very modified, The BB's are filled through the sliding door built into the springer drum mag. It would probably be much easier to use the short hicap as you suggested. Schmitty

101st: PM sent, I am working on the idea of a carbine AEG but so far it isn't looking good. Even the tiny TM MP7 gearbox is too tall to fit the reciever. The only way to make it fit is to locate the gearbox far forward in the reciever under the top handguard cover and the gearbox must be flipped upside down which isn't easy due to the tappet plate and hop up design.

Wow Schimtty, that Thompson is amazing, Good thinking to put the batteries in the drum mag, looks like it works really well. Ill be useing the M1928 conversion kit to make an M1928A1
Now judging by the size of the drum mag from the pics it looks like all I would have to do is rip out the internals from the springer mag build a holding chamber from stryreen for the 190rnd mag and slide it in then attach the drum mag to the gun. Then when my 190rnd mag runs out all I have to do is pull it out and wind it then put it back in, this will simulate me haveing to pull out another drum mag and wind that one then load it into the gun.
Or I could simply cut a small hole in the bottom of the drum mag so I can reach the winder and never have to pull it out. And the I could make several of these drum mags.

Schmitty, my hat is off. Very nice engineering. Considering a real tommy mag isn't even LEGAL here in Northern California, $79 from Airsplat (#AR-SA-43720)is a small price to pay to build this. and I get a cool fore grip in the deal. That's cheap!

In the meantime, because I'm a cheapskate, I may pick up an appropriately sized cake pan and fake it. What diameter am I needing?
