;D I just couldnt hold on any longer after seeing all the pics of Gordaks MG42 plus Schmittys 42 i had to have one. Check the link www.militaryreplicas.netfirms.com/ This is a bargain for us here in the UK i mean to get a Shoei MG42 over here in the first place would have been a nightmare, plus the P&P costs and the UK customs tax i would have been looking at £1200 ($2,163) or more. I was originaly thinking of buying the AEG version but it is just to much money and as ive said far to much trouble to get one into the country. So you guyz are responsible for that big hole in my bank account Danke soldaten now i cant wait to get my hands on the damn thing. Craig. ps ill post up pics when i get it oh and does anyone know where i can buy extra Shoei MG42 magazines from?

FANTASTIC!!! Sorry we cost you all that money though You won't regret it. When I look at how much enjoyment I have got from airsoft over the past 4 years spending $2000 on a gun doesn't seem so bad, and it's not like money down the drain like some hobbys, These things are always worth something if you choose to sell them again. (Especially if they do ban the import of guns to the UK). Schmitty

Sorry I have no idea where to get the magazines. I would suggest building an Assault drum Hi-cap as Gordak shows in his article. People will be expecting you to lay down a lot of fire with this thing so the standard 200 round mags will not suffice for long.

Thanx guyz i know it will be a gem i only know of 2 another people that own Shoei 42's in Scotland. I was speaking to one of them and said that its biggest skirmishing problem was the silly shoei mags that you get with the gun so looks like i will have to make or buy a drum mag at some point. Craig.

Just wondering, how many MG42s does that make? I am afraid that the Allies wont be able to take em all...
