Hey guys, i was wondering, with the 1928 conversion for the Thompson, are there any wires that need messing round with? Or is it just a case of slotting it all together? Cheers - Dave

With the standard kit there are no wires to mess around with at all, you dont have to screw with internals or any of the mechanics of the gun, whcih is realy nice. However if you want to make the stock removalble like on the reall gun then you have to put the battery in a ustom made 50rnd drum mag Take a look here ww2aa.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=technical&action=display&thread=1160879574 and read how shmitty did his M1928 conversion. The early war M1928's had removable stocks including those used by the British commandos and LRDG (SAS) hence my interest in that version.

As mentioned several places throughout these boards but a question that routinely comes up from time to time. Converting a springer airsoft gun to an AEG is an enormous amount of work with an often unhappy result. Almost always not worth the trouble and cost especially when an AEG of that model (In this case the Thompson) is already available in a commercially produced excellent gun.
