I have been considering it- and took my ramp sight off when I painted it, that's when I discovered to my dismay that the Marushin rear sight is not a 'slide-in' affair, but rather there is a center section that is rasied and where the sight screws to the reciever- the flip sights that I have seen were all a solid, slide in piece- so yeah- I'm not sure how that will work, although I have seen Airsoft carbines that have been done.

Sorry guys, Since I don't have a carbine anymore I'm not much help to you, Where there is a will there is always a way. Without seeing it and based on the brief description above I would say grind off the raised section of the carbine (where the ramp sight is) and drill the flip sight so a screw can go through it. Or file/grind the flip sight so that the raised part fits into it like it did with the ramp sight.

How about a "How To" Gordak with some photos? I want to do the same thing to my M1 Carbine and would love to see what I am in for. I'm sure others would agree. ;D
