Hello, as I stated in another thread I now own a tanaka 98k mauser. I heard on an airsoft forum you can use Propane instead of green gas for gas guns. What I cannot figure out is how do I get the propane in the gun? My gun came used with no instruction manual or anything so I have no idea what to do. Also this gun uses 6mm bbs right?

6mm BB's. Yes it will run on propane. Propane is Green Gas. You have to buy a special adapter from www.airsoft-innovations.com or www.airsoftatlanta.com cost about 30.00. add a drop of silicone oil into the adapter every few mags or after each game day run a bit through a mag. To start off you can just buy a bottle of green gas and run it like that for awhile. In the winter it should run under the field limit for a bolt action which is 550FPS At over 400FPS you are going to need to pass a range estimation test pretty much you have to make sure you know where 100' is because that is your MED. If it chronos 400 or less then you don't have to worry about the range estimation. Temp will effect the FPS of your gun.

Ok, well right now I am trying to find some sort of item that will power my gun right here in greenville. I definitly do not want to always order my stuff online. I am just going to email the leader of my airsoft group and ask him where i can get some time of gas near me as I saw lots of people using it last game we had.
