Hello, I spoke to Tomio today about ordering an MP44 directly from them....has anyone had experience with ordering directly from Shoei? Service--good/bad? Any info is appreciated. Cheers! Thomas

Hay Indy could you tell us how it goes, I can't decide if I should buy my Mp44 from them or Uncompany.com. Did they say how many they had in stock and did they have any extra mags. Thank you Will

Yes I will keep this thread updated as my MP44 arrives. He said they don't have magazines available. I have a guy I know in Tokyo looking for some for me for extra clips...they are hard to find. Tomio said they only have 2 left in stock...one of which I just reserved...will be sending the money within 10 days. That leaves one. I got a 10% discount due to their sale going on right now...the price was $985 and some cents plus $91 shipping to AZ. Best deal I found so far.

I Recently got My STG44 direct from Shoei, maybe a month ago. Tomio Is a Great person to do Business with, And Shoei's Customer service is first rate.
My first experience with Tomio was when my Charging handle broke on my MG42. Tomio had one in my mail box 3 days after I Asked him about it. Thats 3 days from request to my PO Box in WV!
My second experience was when I purchased the Last six STG44 mags he had. Once again, here in 3 days.
My Latest experience was when I ordered the STG44, due to its larger size it took a few extra days, but I still had it in under a week.
Finally. Don't tell him I asked you to do this, But Make Sure You express some sort of Interest in a Future B.A.R. Replica in your next E-mail. I Am hoping that if enough people drop enough requests for one, Then maybe it will get Shoei thinking about it. ;D

I ordered MG42 internals for my custom 1919 direct from Tomio at Shoei. He was extremely helpful. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was that they required a bank wire transfer as payment, which I had never done, but was easy enough. Do they always require payment via bank wire?

;D I just e mailed Shoei about that last MP44. Thank you all for the information, I may have just saved $200 that I can put toward my impression. I'm so excited. Thank you all. ;D
By the way what impression can I do that would be accurate with an MP44? Would an Assault gun uniform work, At the Front said late in the war they got to some infantry. Thank you vary much!

www.shoeiseisakusho.co.jp/Sadly the MP44 mags are out, i was informed that they will not be making new ones for a while. Back to the age old classic problem: Getting mags They are also not making new MP44's, and the '42 is on special order. I wonder if they are having a new project going on?

Well my MP44 came today! It arrived about 3 days after I wired the money. I have never done business with such a great company before. I would recommend ordering from them any day. Helpful and friendly staff, very fast and reliable shipping, and great prices (it's ecpensive but a few $100 cheaper than other airsoft dealers). Cheers Thomas PS: Gordak...I read somewhere you have a list of the gas Mp44 numbers... mine is 3247 c/44

I got an mail from them a few days ago. No MP40, they are going to do another production run of the MG42, and have no schedule for more MP44 mags.

on semi, the 70 round mag lasts a long long time, Honestly if you shoot more than two mags off, your wasting ammo.
Full auto is just a total waste

;D I also got my mp44 yesterday and it is amazing. ;D Mine also took 3 days to get here and ordering from shoei went vary well. I also only have the one mag but I am looking for real mags to try to convert to airsoft or at least to put them in my mag pouch. I have not shot it because my regulator has broken and I need to get it fixed. My number is 3236 c/44. I would defiantly recommend ordering this gun from Shoei but if you look at there website they are sold out. ;D

Real mags do not fit.
Mabye some of the companies selling Shoei modelgun magazines have some in stock. I'll bet they are the same size.

Real MP44 magazines can cost $300-$500. Not sure why but they do....plus I've heard they don't fit as mentioned in the reply above. I am going to buy a Shoei MP44 magazine for the dummy MP44 and make my own magazine.

not a bad idea, I remmeber when mp44 mags were 25 bux each! and I used to buy em to cut up into aeg high cap versions lol. in turn, the shoei mp44 mag actualy fits in a real mp44.
I think i have 6 lowcaps now, traded my high cap to schmitty.
Shoei non-airsoft mp44 mags would make great high caps, good luck! -Gordak

I like that idea of using the model gun mags. What did you guys do to remove the orange on the front sight? On my gun the butt-stock shakes around a lot, I would hate to just fill the space with tape so do you guys have any other ideas? Thanks

Post by indy on Mar 25, 2006 23:09:33 GMT -5
To remove the orange I used nail polish remover along with paper towel, a toothbrush, and 4 spare hours. It came off clean but took a long time.
As for the stock...I would just leave it. A few people I know have original MP44s and all of them have jiggly stocks and what not.
Cheers Thomas

there is a screw in there, You could try to tighten, But like indy said, the real 44s juggles a bit
My shoei ones did not tho, so I would reccomend tryignto tighten it.
