This isn't the right place to post this, this should be in technical. It makes the bolt go back and forth.

Blowback refers to the bolt on the airsoft weapon moving back and forth. Non-blowback means the bolt does not move back and forth.

Blow back, like GBB pistols, makes the bolt or slide move back and forth. NBB means it doesn't. I still don't understand why manufactures dont attach the fake bolts to the spring or cylinder or tappet plate to make a fake BB factor. Of course, then if you did the "pull the bolt back" after you load a magazine in like everyone I know, you would probably mess up the gun.

Its like when you shoot a real pistol and the slide goes back and forth, intern moving the bolt which loads the next bullet. Blowback makes you have recoil.

No, it is annoying to have tech posts in the general section. Honestly this would belong in a New player section (which we don't have), furthermore all the information is on the webpage. So, infact, the question really doesnt belong on the forum at all. -Gordak
