Ok Gordak...how good does that MP44 kit look at shootnscoot? I always wanted to turn an AK into an MP44...here's my chance. ;D

A De Lisle would definetly make for a very interesting custom piece. Definetly do-able. Probably easiest to just buy a complete lee enfield to start with. You can get them for $150 or less. I see them at GI-joes pretty often.
The Shoot n Scoot MP44 is a bit too far off for me. I think a G-3 reciever looks more like an MP44 than an AK47. You can buy a reproduction MP44 wood stock at IMA for $60.
