Hey, can anyone give me some advice on converting the AK-47 into an STG-44? Like what brand to use and other cosmetic type things.

its very close to not worth it,
If just take the handgaurd off until you could find a ww2 gun.

Well, I have tons of WWII guns (TM thompson, Tanaka K98, Marushin M1, WA 1911)I just wanted to expand my collection on the axis side, all the axis guns are so expensive!

There is a guy in sweden ho made a very impressive StG44 conversion out of an G3A3 rifle. www.tac-team.dk/TAC/2004/WWIITest/a6.jpgwww.tac-team.dk/TAC/2004/WWII2/11.jpgFor what it is, it's really well done imo. As for their equipment and all, they donøt make ww2 airsoft with the focus on gear and all that, but rather on the scenarios and roleplaying. So the comments about their kit (which they donøt care much about) is not needed  As for the many guns thing, i passed that stage some time ago, and now i'm trying to cut the colletion down to what i can use (down to 8, more need to go). |

I bought a CA33e just to use as a stand in Stg44. I have been toying with the idea of buying a real wood stock and using that with some major modifications.

given the look of the mag and the rest of the gun...i'd say the CA33 is one of the better canidates for a cosmetic coversion out there...

The G3 would be my choice to convert into a STG44. BTW that guy in the Flektarn with SS sleeve eagle.....   Comon, repos arent that expensive!! |

And why convert a gun, the amount of time it takes, you could just get a Shoei instead As i said, they don't care. The uniforms is not the focus of their games (and the pictures i 2 years old). The particular game i think, was based on a secret weapon story, with UFO plans. The perons that have attended their games, tell that their stories and games are very fun  |
