I just bought my first WWII gun! its agrease gun and its new. I bought it off ebay though and the guy said it was the new versian, but I was wondering how do I double check that. I want to majke sure before I go playing with it to much. The other thing is would you recomend any preventative maintanence before firing it for the first time. I read the revies on here already, but I was wondering if there was something besides those. Thanx

USE ONLY THE PROPER GAS FOR IT....134A.....DO NOT USE PROPANE,GREEN GAS OR ANYTHING ELSE.........sorry had to put that in caps since that's how i screwed mine up on the first couple of mags.also ,do not dry fire it...keep it lubricated...all the usual maintienence stuff for a gas gun.also,if you want a sling for it,it takes the one from the M1 carbine.also, keep and on the recoil springs.they might need to be stretched after a bit since they seem to get weaker after use, just like the real steel.

When you buy 134a gas at the auto parts store how do you get the adapeter so you can use them in your gun?

charleyfoxtrot - You have to buy a valve from the autoparts store to fit onto the 134a can and then you get a hose and some clamps and connect the hose to the valve on the 134a can and the other end you put a filler valve from a used up 134a or green gas can. You have to use a strong knife or bayonet to "punch" out the filler valve from your old gas can. Just look at the pictures in the Articles section on the main site.
Ly8thaf - That is interesting. I wonder why green gas doesn't smell like propane though?

Green gas is propane! But green gas and Propane are a big no in your airsoft gun so stick with 134a. -Gordak

Yup, I'm a secret agent. =). No actually I work in the customs brokerage industry, my team imports virtually everything from the pacific rim for a major big box retailer who's name ends in mart, and has no K.

Pulling my hair out here, if the handles were separate from the grenades then they should have been classified separately. Probably as tool handles 4400.00 somewhere in there, but if the handles were attached then they should have been classified as......not sure here, maybe toys, or collectables. When I have a few minutes to devote to figuring this out I'll let you know more. By chance did you write CBP for a pre classification? I would recommend that in future, it's a good way to avoid unexpected rejections.
