Hey guys, i got a WE 1911 pistol recently and it is great! but after a while the awesome slide-locking thing stopped. I dunno what happened i mean even tho the BB's ran out the slide just returned to normal position to shoot out nothing (just gas, no BB) so yeah. alos, sometimes the safety switch doesnt work. like switching it to the "safe" position, it doesnt happen why? I really really want the slide-locking system to work because its one of the great things about a GBB and its sooo fun! so yeah, thanks.

yeah i've owned my we 1911 for a few months and noticed the same problem. its only happened a few times and what i jsut do is feild strip the gun and put it back together. for some reason it always works for me but it could just be that i have magic powers

. also i believe that the safety wont slide unless your fully gripping the weapon. (aka using the grip safety) its quite a mystery to me but i always seem to find a way around it. guess im jsut lucky
