Has anyone tried to modify their Marushin M1 Carbine for external air? I figured it would be easy since you wouldn't have to drill any holes assuming you could find a valve that would just screw right into the fill valve hole on the bottom of the magazine. If anyone has any information on this or where to get parts to do this, that would be great. I know palmers makes these sorts of parts, but i don't know what would fit.

so you would shut off and detach the air line every 15 rounds? Id prefer the gas in the mag to that. -Gordak

check valve and a quick disconnect if you could rig it would be ideal.

I only have two magazines and I can't find any more (8mm), so I thought it might just be an alternative to carrying around my gas can anyways. Plus it seems my mags don't hold very much gas. I'm not sure if it is me not filling them up enough or what, but I was barely getting one magazine off. Last time I used them was on a very warm day and they had ample time to cool and I didn't fire off the shots quickly. I was using Green Gas and there are no leaks. Would using 134a make a difference? Also, off topic from gas, but still on the Carbine, does the 8mm have hop-up? I'm convinced it doesn't but just want to double check.
