I have seen a lot of "Springfield" training rifles up on ebay lately. Most have been by Paris Dunn? Anyway I was wondering how easily they could be converted to airsoft by adding and ASP2 or UTG bolt action rifle, or if it was possable at all? These guns are fairly cheap around a hundred bucks or less. Anyway just a thought.

the stock is way too different from a real springfeild.
I would start with buying a real springfeild stock, and building off of that. -Gordak

Take a hard look at the bolt assembly of your base rifle and determine if the shape and dimensions would look acceptable when combined with a Springfield stock. I saw that they had some available recently at a gun show (springfield wood with both lower and upper stock pieces for $200.00 unfinished) All America Dan built a decent Kar 98 out of an existing bolt action airsoft rifle using Mauser stock barrel and wood.
