Well, I fired a few clips through my AGM MP40, fired great. Waited a few days, took it out (today) and it did not fire....not even a sound of the engine or anything, just as if there was no battery. I checked the battery in another AEG and it was fine. I also took off the side panels and grips, wiring is fine. Could the on/off switch be stuck on "off" even when toggled to "on"? I am no expert with AEGs, perhaps someone can give me some tips that I can try to get this thing going again?

fuse is good yes? toggle on/off to on hook up your multi meter to the leads to your motor pull trigger and hold do you spike in volts as in 0 - 8.9 or something of that nature? no? ok hook up battery side before switch same thing trigger side of on/off switch same thing. From there you would be looking at the trigger system to make sure it is pulling current. I'm no expert at electrical stuff but that is where I would start from the backand go forward power from battery past fuse through on off through trigger to motor and then break into the mechbox not exactly in order there but easiest for me to get to through more diffuclt.

I agree, start by looking at the fuse.
If you think it might be the switch, then bypass it. Take two wires and run the battery straight to the + and - leads on the motor. If that works, then try bypassing only the switch on the bottom of the grip (just from memory, the switch interrupts the + lead?). If that works, then its the switch in the mechbox.

Check the Tamiya leads on the battery side and the gun side. Makes sure they are making contact, one of them may have been pushed back and not making contact. (Common) Simply push the wires into the tamiya connector - you may have to wiggle them. If this is the problem I can post pictures on how to remove the bullet connectors and reset them so they won't come out as easily.
