Metal part 65?

Ok all I am sick of a plastic part 65, thanks to a little inspiration...I think Im going to go ask a machinist to recreate it for me. I was just wondering do I give them a part 65 and ask them to Make it for me, is it too complicated of a project? Little advice please. ;D
