I want to get a tokyo marui thompson but they are anywhere from 300-450 buks and i dont feel like paying that much , i was just wondering if i bought a spring thompson and took a gaerbox from my crappy electric, would i be able to put it in the thompson and would it work right? if not can you tell me how to do something similar?

If the electric was already crappy, why would you want to put into the Thomson? Chances are, the gearbox won't fit anyway. Spring Thompsons go for about $100, so just go the extra distance and get a Marui, or just wait for the Chinese Thompson to come out in (hopefully) a year or so.

Sorry kids- this question has been asked and hashed to death- Please do a bit of reading here before asking the same questions over and over..... There are reasonably inexpensive alternatives to the TM Thompson, those being used or bone-stock (i.e. no battery or charger purchased with the gun). But the age-old adage is still true here in the 21st century...... Ya get what ya pay for-Closed-
