I think you can shoehorn it in if you make a hollw spot in the stock so the motor would sit in the stock. I can double check tommorow for sure as I have both sitting around sort of.

I have only the Machinist Drawings found on Emule... Bye! Could you post a link as I'm doing a PPSH 41 but being in England I could only get the stock and lower reciever so any info to help me accurately construct the rest would be great

Sure! The link of blueprints?? [Firearms] - Construction Guide - Russian PPSH41 Submachine Gun - Complete Machinist Drawings this is the name, search it on some p2p... This is a good page to see how a ppsh 41 is done: mydumbprojects.blogspot.com/search?q=ppsh41What gearbox will you fit inside??? or is a non firing bbs replica???

Construction Guide - Russian PPSH41 Submachine Gun - Complete Machinist Drawings Found a copy, thanks. Not sure yet, but I'm thinking of using one of the new AGM MP40s as a donor. Edit: just realised that the gearbox you were talking about was out of the MP40 , so maybe I'll have to rethink. Watch this space ;D

yes there is a little problem with the mp40... the gearbox is longer of about 65mm (not 85...) so you must have to make longer the ppsh 41 receiver... I think it should be possible but I don't know about the final visual effect...

This is a bit far-fetched, but maybe a drive cable or shaft could be used to move the motor into the stock?

Nicely made but it runs on a 12 gram and has very few bb's in the mag. Wonder if it is semi or full or both?

I made a PPSH41 using a real steel parts kit and a modified TM verIII gearbox (this was several years ago before the AGM MP-40) The modified gearbox looks quite similar to the AGM MP-40 gearbox. It did require carving out wood so the motor could recess into the stock. The hardest part was the height. The gearbox barely fit and left almost no room for the trigger. The trigger switch is actually located in front of the gearbox and the trigger pushes a rod that hits it.

Hmmm... Here is a list of custom projects I have done.
Sten MK V... based on TM verIII AEG Bren Mk II... also a TM VerIII AEG L85.... built for my brother using a TM Famas gearbox Vickers .303 mk IV... based on TM P-90 M3a1 Grease gun... based on TM P-90 PPSH-41... TM ver III AEG Mp-40... TM ver III aeg, marushin cap gun MG-34.... TM verIII AEG M3a1 grease gun... using TM MP-7 gearbox, barrel and hop up Sten Mk II... modified TM ver III Mauser Kar98k... bolt action springer using AEG parts. M1919... TM verII/III parts in Star gearbox.
That's all I can think of. As you can see, The TM verIII was the customizers gearbox of choice, although that AGM MP-40 gearbox would work well for many of the projects above. You can do a search for pics of most of these projects.

I would make a drum mag useing maybe a box from a M249 and then for the gas you can make a external rig useing the 12 gram charger as a expansion chamber. Thats just what I would do, every thing is bacicly all ready made for you and its ready to fire, it just needs a few mods.
