A friend and I have been milling through ideas for different airsoft projects to take on and theres been lots of different ideas, but while i was looking up weapons trying to figure things out i remembered the Welrod!!! Designed for SOE and OSS, it was used as a British made silenced pistol. Was reading up other details on wikipedia(yes scary i know), and it mentioned how being these were more "clandestine" type weapons they didnt feature any markings as to where they were made. Just thought that was interesting. any other obscure type weapons you wish would be made? this seems simple enough and would be pretty interesting to some how work with it in different scenarios.

actually, that wouldn't be to hard, could make it out of pvc and be powered by co2 cells.
i know this isn't very ww2i's but i'd like to see a e-11 blaster.

Obscure weapons like the Welrod would be fun but i would prefer some more common weapons first! Were are the Stens, Enfields, Brens, Gewehr 43s, MG34s...?

I would like a flamethrower. I know it couldnt shoot out a flame or anything, but it would be a really cool effect, and look on somebodys back. Maybe just have it spray out bb's. I think that would be cool.

I wonder how hard a flame thrower would be? There are plenty of industrial strength garden sprayers out there. Red food dye and off we go.

The Stens all ready been made (by a few companys), KTW made/makes the Enfield, the MG34 has all ready been made by Asahi, and Gordak may be able to confirm this but didend FTC make a Bren in 1983?

Russianboy Yes, you are right. I know about this, but some of them are not available any more. Some are super expensive, some are not really suitable for game play. Thas why most people use the thompson... (90% of the allied players i know)

(90% of the allied players i know) And don't forget some of the Axis players that use them too. (Although most have been replaced by MP40's)

Spandau. The world needs a Spandau. Plans ordered, I'm building one for the living room collection. I won't be ventilating the water jacket (!!!). Not sure why that was done. EDIT: These are aircraft weapons. Think Red Baron. Now I need two!

nice killbucket. First the tiger gun, now the red baron. You certainly are a man who likes his colorful paintjobs.

I'd like to see a gun that functions exactly like the Marushin M1 Garand, except electric, then again wouldn't we all. I think a PIAT or a Panzerfaust would be interesting. I would really like to see an M42 SMG.

I believe "theriseandfall" is asking for ideas of a interesting and as of yet un-done CUSTOM project. Don't make this another "what would you like to see THEM make next" thread.
A Welrod would make for a very unusual and fairly easy custom project, The shape is simple and seems idealy suited for a springer to me since the bolt must be pulled straight back each shot.
It won't make for a particularily usefull weapon though. You would almost have to design a game scenario around it, but who cares..... GO FOR IT!!

A Webley would go to my collection if some were made. And an Astra 400 or 600 too.

And there's alway's Ash's gun from"The Evil Dead". A dual, angle-chopped shotgun. (I hope I'm thinking of the correct film...) Is there an aisoft double-barrel to build this from? Hmmm...

I hope this works but I think that another weapon id like to see is the 1942 liberator. Same concept except that it was one of the cheapest weapons and quickest made of the entire war. It was dropped to french resistance with the sole purpose of killing one man to acquire a better weapon lets see if i can get the image It's just an idea along the same idea. Much harder because its not of simple design, but if you know about it, it is very interesting weapon. In real life i do believe it had the accuracy of a pilot with a 45 but hey its cool.

It's also only single shot. Not that useful, but an airsoft one would definitely be cool.

liberator guns are very cool little peices. I think making an airsoft version would be a fun idea simply because you can shoot one without having to worry about hurting yourself with those little buggers. I think I recal hearing about a company that makes non-firing repros (can anyone else recal that or am I just goin a little nutty again?)

I think a Bren Gun would be an awesome choice of weapon to create. You could use a similar system to killerbucket's .30 cal. ABS plastic and simple plating. Adorn it with al the little pieces and a strong carry handle and you're ready to go. As for internals, get an M14 set of guts and install it upside down with the hop up turned all the way into reverse. Make a couple of those banana clips or adapt some from an AK or similar gun. You'll be tearing through Jerry's in no time. The barrel and bipod could even be made from some well edited PVC. The stock is kind of an unusual shape so I don't know how you would do that.
It would be an awesome project and I'm sure many guys would pay you a handsome sum for one.
