I fell on my M1 Carbine this weekend and cracked the stock pretty bad, and also the hand guard. The gun still functions flawlessly, but I need to fix the stock. I am a decent woodworker so I don't need advice for fixing the stock. However I was wondering if anyone had placed the internals in a real USG1 stock? It looks like ther isn't much in the stock to mount the "guts" but I don't know about the dimensions. Any help would be appreciated.

2ndBat is your source on this one. Off the top of my head I guess a lot of very careful dremel time would be involved.

The gas gun probably has enough room to fit. AEGs do not and that is my interest.

like the para stocks...the magwell will have to be opened up a bit since the marushin mags are a bit bigger than the real steel.other than that it shouldn't be too hard...been thinking of doing it with mine but i haven't gottem around to it yet.....too many damn projects...lol...
