all right, im gonna need some input from the resident gun gurus. I found a PPS-43 parts kit with a couple extra mags for relatively cheap and I was contemplating its potential for a custom gun. My first thought was to use a mp-40 gerabox, but Im questioning whether that would fit, as the PPS-43 has a very thin reciever. What seems most likely to me at this point is that I would use an mp-7 gearbox way up at the front of the reciever and have a rod or something to connect to the trigger.

I think the reciever might be too short (in height) to squeeze a gearbox in. Maybe an mp-7 style. I looked at a DP-28 parts kit the other night..... I don't think any normal AEG box will fit in it either.

You might want to try using an MP5 as a donor. The PPS will need a lot of work but it should fit. If you can build an AEG Sten, then I think you can AEG anything!
