Im starting to get my Polish Resistance (Armia Krajowa) impression together, so Ive decided to build an insurgent molotov cocktail launcher. It shouldnt be to difficult its basically one large board, one skinny long board and a spring launching contraption. It should look something like this: www.warsawuprising.com/photos.htmgo to the page that says weapons and click on number 14 when the window pops up. If anyone has any other pictures of one of these, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post them. Andrew

Oh yeah, I forgot that you were working on a Home Army imp. I am now as well... sorta, with some guys in my reenacting group. Still getting my kit together tho... Post some pics of yours when you got it together.
Oh, on the topic of the launcher, Google search it as well as wikipedia it.

I found out that the long curved piece is actually a leaf spring from a car. I could probably pick one up from a junkyard.

Look for the smallest weakest one you can find. If it came from a 30's-40's era car you can bet it was smaller than anything modern. It's also likely the only ones you'll find are from trucks. Not many cars use leaf springs in the last 30 years. Maybe an older import pick up would do?
