wow, looks nice. I might just pop a flash hider, mount, and close-enough scope to mine for kicks.

sadly that's as far foreward as it will go. I like it but in that it's pretty different than the actual scope used, it's farther back and higher... though if you play airsoft with a mask on it's only better. ha ha

yeah.... the flash hider is more that time.... and these guns never really didn't see widespread action in WWII... or so I've read. And wasn't the cone flash hider used until the 50s? anyways... It's still some sort of garand. ha ha

Wow great job. Even though it wasn't use widespread, or maybe even at all during WWII, it looks great. When you first came in here talking about making one, I was like wow, what a newb, but I guess I was wrong! Great job, and welcome to the boards!

Niiiiiice mod. I wish the rest of airsoft would realize just how much you can do with an M1 garand. Then the chinese or TM would come out with an official aeg version and get all the bits put on it. A guy at the gun club last week had a shorty tanker version that he put a ris on, flash hider and laser off the gas nut. It looked really cool. He had a black fiber force stock and long relief scope on it. Nice piece and shot right on target. He called it his scout garand and he preferred it to his m14 scout.
