FUTURE OF AIRSOFT

Ok all, I have been very interested in looking at all of the custom guns on the site. I have been working on a few myself, like a bazooka and a 30. cal. Now here is my idea......

Since we are all fighting for the greater good of airsoft here, I suggest we designate this thread for ANY ideas you might have for any custom guns. That way people can share ideas and plans and we can all work out different and better ways to create custom guns at a cheaper price while not sacrificing power. Im talking ways to lay in gearboxes...ways to carve your own stock...ways to make springers.........ways to do ANYTHING for a custom gun!

So lets get started soldiers......I would personally like to see BAR's (I hear theres a resin design in the works?) and a springer M1 garand. Now lets all put our heads together and share ALL of our ideas!!

Well, Gryphon's oh-so-sweet M38 has inspired me to make a springer M1903A4 out of a shotgun or sniper rifle. With any luck, I'll start next weekend.

BTW Sharpshooter, it's HOOAH. Hooha is some some kiddie lake on the Disney channel. LOL, just kiding of course, we all know what you mean. ;D

I think that tommygunner made a thread about this already. The main problem with a general thread to custom guns is well....these are custom guns. setting the gearbox in say, a resin bar, would be very different from that of making a springer garand. It'll probably end up taking one gun more than another, or incoherent posts that give minimal advice/input/ideas on way to broad a spectrum. Sorry to be a downer, but I personally think that's how it will go down.

Also, why make a springer garand? the cost between base guns is certainly small enough and cheap enough to justify an aeg gun that will perform, and probably look better than its spring counterpart.

Anyway, I just wanted one thread so we could put our heads together and share all our ideas to create more custom guns.

And I am pretty far along on a springer garand, but its under wraps until I have it nearly finished, cause it may not work.
