Hey guys, I am considering using one of killbucket's M2's to make a paintball gun based machine gun. I feel that the CO2 operated paintball platform firing in full-auto makes for a very intimidating MG setup and the high caliber rounds make for a better .50 caliber imitation than do BBs. The gas also allows it to be used in reenacting as it makes a well pronounced noise and realeases gas out of the muzzle resembling a muzzle flash. Having said this, I am curious to see if anyone here knows of a cheap way to obtain plastic or non-paint rounds in .68 caliber. It would be extremely helpful if someone had a mold which they could use to make light plastic ammunition but this seems unlikely. I know you can get 2000 rounds of rubber ammo for $300 bucks but that is far too expensive.
Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks!

.69 rubber ammo will hurt like a mother being that it is solid.

mhm, if you just do the math of the mass of a .68 cal of solid rubber or a similar material going roughly at the same fps of a 6mm bb.....it is not safe for the typical airsofter. Unless your field says its ok and the people you play with don't mind being taken out by that thing, I don't suggest using it for airsoft use.

Well guys I had figured this would be the case but thats why I asked if anyone knew of any lightweight ammo. I am still planning to build the M2 as I dont skirmish anyway and could use it for plinking in the yard. Ill keep everyone posted.
