I would like to know what parts I would need to build either a K98 or Mosin Nagant M44 or M91/30 from an MP001. Thank you any and all helpful comments are appreciated.

I think it depends too much on how far you want the conversion to go. For all 3 I say you at least need a stock. Look at the threads relating to these conversions, they may be able to help you out more. Mabye take more time to decide which gun you will actually convert it to (you have 3 listed) and how detailed you want the conversion to be.

I have heard the mosin nagants are hard to convert but Ideally I would like to convert an MP001 into an M44, it would not be too detailed, but I would like it to have the features an M44 has.

Buy a complete M44 if you are an adult . You will need to hog out the space in the stock for the MP001 you have. I used a USR11 for my last one and lined up the rear reciever hole on the USR with the hole at the back of the stock that holds the reciever and trigger guard in. There are pictures on here that show my M44 feel free to look and ask questions.

Yeah, neither one has a firearms license, they aren't to big on that kind of stuff.

Where do you live?? The legal age to purchase firearms in the US is 18 for rifles and 21 for pistols. Your profile says that you are 22. Unless you are already a convicted felon, you should be good to go.

Yeah, neither one has a firearms license, they aren't to big on that kind of stuff. You don't have to have license to buy a long gun. You under go a background check and fill out some paper work. You can go into a gun store and walkout with a rifle. another choice for you would be gun shows. You will have to get an adult to go with as usually they don't let minors in without one. its going to be hard for you to find just a stock of a M44/Mosin-Nagant because they are so cheap just to buy the whole gun.

There was an ebay store that sold them I saw. Also, my friends dad sells WW2 memorabilia for example I could walk into his house and come out with a full WW2 impression. (He has virtually any possible stock known to man pre-1945)
