we luger problems

im not too familiar on the tanaka lugers or the we lugers and i didnt find amything so i need to ask here. i just got my we luger and i loaded it up and started fireing but when i went to pull the trigger for the second shot it didnt shoot when i pull on the trigger forward it shot again but then did the same thing so i disasembled it and lubed it really really good and also streched the spring that pushes the trigger forward, i load it up again and it acts like i did nothing, what is wrong

I seem to remember that the lugers have to be cocked BEFORE you insert the magazine, did you do this?

yes i did
