Holly Crap!!!! Thats amazing. I really like it, for the kind of conversion it is.
Dang, I will soon have an M-14 inbound and I bet I could fabricate a hollow plastic reciver and little bits to attach to the M-14 parts and cover them up and then make the front upper hand guard and make the other items too. Basically make the parts liek he did except I woudl make mine form plastic. Hmmm my hopefull M1 Garand conversion of the M-14 may actually be sidetracked by a possible venture into this as well.

Wow! That is very amazing, especially on page 4. He really got the look down on the g43. Anyone who can do this should, you'd be in for a lot of money!

Man does that look good! Is that the M14 stock just dressed up? Doesn't seem to be a very difficult conversion. I would love to have one of "Hitler's Garands". ;D

I dont know if it is a mocked up stock. It looks like it is but the sling is going right through the butt and inst that where the battery is? Whatever it is it looks like real wood. maybe a wood m14 stock?

It is absolutely an M14 real wood stock. The really expensive one for the Marui.
Wonderful job. Of course there are compromises but they are far more subtle then I would have predicted given how straight forward his adaptation is.
I always feared the mag well gap wouldn't appear great enough but in fact it looks pretty good. He did a nice job on the cut down magazines which again look pretty good. I don't envy him that job as it's apain in the ass. He's fortunate in that his would only require one cut along with cutting down the metal housings. I especially like his work on the receiver group and metal bits. (He obviously has a machine shop).
The only really significant deviation is the barrel exit point being too high on the rifle. (On the G43 the gas port tube was above the barrel and hidden under the upper handguard as in an AK) The shortened M14 stock looks better then I would have guessed.
I'm guessing he uses mini batteries since the leather sling through the rear stock area would preclude the use of a large battery. Incidently I don't see that as an issue as in a well run WW2 airsoft skirmish we aren't firing the massive amount of ammo of a typical airsoft event.
It would be great to see this as a commercial offering.

I wonder what his price for one is. It neglects to say that.

Wow that looks really nice. For all the effort he put into the upper receiver I think it would be worth the additional effort to make the rest of it right, In for a penny in for a pound and all that, But I agree that considering the straightforward approach of the conversion it looks fantastic.
It may be possible to have the sling appear to go through the stock when it actually doesn't (just attached on either side) thereby leaving room for a larger battery.
