Tom and I went out and played with some local airsofters today, we finally got to use our Garands in combat. ;D They worked remarkably well considering the low temp. out of 5 games I got 2 kills, and was killed every game. Here are a couple of pics: the rest are here: www.2ndrangersairsoft.com/4-9-06.htm

Very glad to hear the Garands performed well Mills! Just curious...what was the temperature during your skirmish?

Are those Capt Zaks "wool" shirts? If so they look quite good. The patches and helmet details looked great.

Very glad to hear the Garands performed well Mills! Just curious...what was the temperature during your skirmish? I dont know the exact temp, but it was kind of chilly. the garands only smurfed up after we'd been sitting in the shade for awile and rapidly fireing. the tanks got really cold. Plus on mine, the screw that holds the action slide in came loose. This one guy I hit, I got him in the forhead, he said the 8mm dont hit harder than the 6mm, but you can definitly tell the difference. it also left a Huge welt on his head. it was kind of funny.
