Hey does anyone on here live near Livermore/Fremont, CA? I've got a little local group (just a forum to organize games, really) that regularly plays in Fremont and occasionally in Castro Valley. It'd be great to get to know some WWII airsofters and get to play with them. Check out www.alamedaairsoft.proboards60.com if you are interested. Look forward to hear from you guys. -David

Dang, it sounds like you guys are about 6 hours away from here. Do you think you guys would be cool with driving a ways to come for a game? Im gonna try and get some weekend long games going this summer so that might make it more worthwhile for you when it comes to the distance.

6 Hours is better than going up to ah...somewhere else. Or we could meet up somewhere, like Corona or something. Like we all drive halfway. A Mutual Thing.

I live in gilroy, yes garlic town, of course it doesn't help that my mom is moving us up north an hour.... so basically for all of your information I live in pleasanton now. I agree lets meet up for a game.... if ever... somewhere in between. GoForBroke when you get here, we got to play at sequoia some time, me and my friends all have aegs now. I only need a uniform and helmet.

I'm out of school in about a week so we can figure something out then, but yes in the meantime FINALS - FUN FUN FUN, ttyl, peace, guys.

Sequoia absolutely BLOWS. I hate that place. Same as Go4Broke, I went only once and refuse to go again. The place has potential as a feild but I just thought the rules and people made the game too bland and boring. Pretty much no snipers are allowed unless you wanna use a friggin Super 9 :cringes:. So yeah, we play in a little valley in Fremont near Highway 680. There are two areas, one with a hill and some terraced flat areas and another that is lower down in a creekbed (which is great for summer games in the shade). Check out www.alamedaairsoft.proboards60.com for pictures and all that good stuff. You might have to make a login to see them though, I dont remember if I made that member only or not, sorry. Also, if you do make a login, introduce yourself and everything. I wanna show all the guys that WWII is way better than this crappy M16 stuff (they all make fun of me for the WWII stuff....until i bring out my k98 though, lol). Look forward to hearing from you guys and hopefully playing with you. -David

I have never airsofted anywhere other than my back yard and my friends back yard. (my back yard is an acre or so of organised planted trees, makes for soem good hedge row fighting in some areas and cant see cr*p forest fighting in others, and a big open spot where the pool is, my friend has a bunch of little buildings, a shed, a big barn wiht 2 floors, a small shed, a dog house... big big big dog house.... with multiple rooms, one time i hid up in the ceiling because i ran outa ammo for my springer and when my friend came in he sighed with relief after he saw no one in... and i grabbed his ca36 right outa his hands when he walked out). So anyways, when i do play a game with more than 5 people you guys can chose where. Ill check out your forum sabre, and feel free to post here as much as you want.... people can get serrious here...... people can always be serious..... but its mostly fun. I would also love to help you show your friends how cool wwII is over m16 stuff.

Well, it would be a tad different. Like game organizing, individual team boards, et cetera. But, it's cool.

I can put a WWII section on the alameda forum, and we can make WWII events from there if you wanted. I think itd be tight. Although I dont know where else we could play other than where we currently do.

Well, the good thing about California is, there's plenty of desert and hills everywhere. SC Village holds occasional Airsoft events, and Yucaipa is very open to Airsoft folks. Though, I cannot find many other WWII Folks.

SC Villiage? Yucaipa? Where or what are those, I've never heard of em before.

SC Village=Paintball and Airsoft place in Corona.
Yucaipa=Some tiny town next to Redlands and Moreno Valley. If you don't know where those places are, they are by Riverside and San Bernardino. If all else fails, look on Google Earth.

Unfortunately, not yet. I've always wanted one. But right now I'm going to try getting a M1942 Jump Uniform, Paratrooper boots (with the leather laces ;D), and a 506th M1C Helmet. Ill get the Airborne Web gear later on though. I also want to get a Marushin M1 Garand and try fitting it with an M84, which would be badass and would go pretty well with my Karabiner.

an m84? for a ww2 paratrooper impression? They weren't put into use untill 1945, and really only used in korea. Garands don't need scopes, and certainly not a marushin garand. Good luck sniping wiht it though, if thats your thing.
Hi Im Brian. Im from san jose, going to uc riverside. just to introduce myself. I also have a marushin garand if anyone wants to bid for it ill sell. I need to pay for ammo for the real one.
