I'm kinda' curious on starting a 2006 German Army Uniform, possibly along with a Modern German Airsoft Firearm. Do any of you know where I could possibly find photos and links to the German Army of today? Thanks a bunch fellas!!!--Ben

Those images are outdated. The german army have just recently introduced the IDZ system, which includes new boots, knee guards, modular combat vests, loads of accessories for their G36's, ballistic goggles, new jackets, and other stuff i still havn't seen. The vests have a hefty pricetag (250$ for the basic vest alone), the electronic accessoiries are not avalible to civilians, but are not needed anyway, as they mostly give audio and graphic communication inbetween the soldiers and the HQ. Imagine small handheld computers, with images of the battlefield and posistion of your buddies and possibly the enemy. This guy got the new IDZ loadout: I wich i could get my hands on an airsoft MG43! (designated MG4 in the BW)

So pretty much he looks like just about any other soldier on the battlfield today except for the flag on his shoulder. So mundane.

Except that of today, they got the most advanced package of any (regular) soldier.
Just that is modern warfare, effeciency before looks. No "That'll look nice on the paradeground" junk.

In my opinion, I find some of the WWII stuff to be more effecient. like with my WWII American load out, all made of cotton or canvas it is adjusted perfectly and moves with me extremly well, while my modern load out is made out of mostly nylon crap which is very noisy, hard to adjust, and is just down right annoying!
