Well I think that Killbucket has the market fairly well tieed up with his 30cal Mgs. The only perc in my opinion to this new one would be if the price was less then, equal or only slightly higher than killbuckets Mgs. I have a feeling the guns gonna be alot though.

Looks good, but I just hope the production version doesn't have that awful Israeli bi-pod on it. Sorry, but that's a pet peeve of mine, people slapping one of those over the cooling jacket, when real A6's had a substantially different layout, shorter barrel jacket, bearing and flash hider up front and a rotating, swinging bi-pod right at the muzzle.

DB is trying to keep his price point around $1000.00 to 1200.00 which in my opinion would be a phenomenal bargain. I can certainly live with the bipod issue although the cost of doing it right would probably be the same.
I predict he'll quickly learn he isn't making any money at that but can't sell enough to make it worthwhile if it's priced considerably above it. It will be a sweet weapon and many of the ideas for it are well thought out. Dwayne is an avid Airsofter so it will be grounded in skirmish play with tactical considerations.
Incidently I don't think the flash hider was used with the A6 until after WW2 but of course I could be way off on that. You see them on the gun in Korea pictures but to my knowledge not in WW2 photos.

Thats correct as far as I know, the earlier models of the 1919A6 also had a signifigantly different style carrying handle than the later ones. This DB custom will very likely be a great weapon but it's just too much out of my price budged (and most other airsofters' too). Besides, I already own a 1919 ;D

Their probably going to put the Izzy A6 kits on, the USGI fronts are way to rare and expensive for mass production.

Even the Israeli parts are spendy and add quite a bit to the cost of production
