Hey. Bought this set for 100$. However once I got it, it didn't really look right to me. Just asking people opinions on it. However, for 100$, it'll suit me well for hot summer days.

The Chinese repro stuff has the wrong colour balance.
I still can't exactly tell whats wrong.
If you look at GMAX pdot you'll know the difference. Mind you its a lot of $$$

Pattern is wrong, colours are utterly wrong. After a lot of wearing, it will look like a terrible pattern with a lot of wear On the other hand, the good quality camouflage is kinda pricy. So if your club doesnt have strict standards, you could do with this. But personally I advice against using bad repros, then it's better to not use it.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There are maybe...5 airsofters at the most who do the Germans, and one who does American. Lol. This will do. As it is. Airsoft in Canada is 3x as much than in America. A Tanaka 98k costs 1300$ up here. A TM ak47 is 600...JUST the gun. However, in a few years, once my kit is complete and a secure job, I'd like to try coming down to the states to play with you guys. However, I'd have to rent a gun. Good luck trying to bring anything related to airsoft back into Canada. Man we suck:(
And thank you for your comments and tips. I knew the damn thing was wrong. Ah well. haha

It is very hard to tell the true color of ANY camo when shown in a photo on the internet. The light the photo was taken in, the white balance selected by the camera when it is shot and color calibration of the computer monitor can shift the color of anything. Below is a sample of two photos taken of the exact same FJ smock. Either the camera used in these two photos was set at two different white balance settings or the camera was set on automatic or it was shot with two different light sources. So what I am saying is take any photo you see on the internet with a grain of salt, as far as to what the true colors are!!

Interesting photos there Ripper!! I noticed in the first photo that the colors were out of register when they printed the camo pattern. I bought a pair of repros that looked like that, and decided they were not accurate because of it. Just goes to show that even the real ones were not made perfect!!

They are indeed incorrect. The pattern is wrong. They also got flaws in the basic design. I dare you to find an original example simmilar to this. You could also post it in Wehrmacht-awards.com and try and convince them it's a good copy. The guy who tried to pass postwar czech stuff as original certainly made things interresting ;D
