Lube/Oil for TM Thompson

Before I close up my Tommy, I was wondering what lube and or oil should I use on the outer gearbox shell and also where the slide moves on it. Would say, something like this work?

Go to your local hobby shop and buy hobby lube. Its a silicon based lube used in RC cars, model trains, model planes and such that will nto eat away at things like O rings or other rubber items they way that gun oil will.

Its very cheap and easy to find.
