This event was amazing. I had so much fun (even though my legs got shot to hell...I have dots running up and down my whole body!), and I can't wait until the next event. So for this thread, just post the pictures that you guys got and we will compile them all together or somthing. I wonder if 29th is home yet? In any case it was good to see some new faces.
A NOI!

yeah I have got to say that event was absolutly perfect, Im really happy with how the allies did this time we finnally got our applesauce together thanks to some actuall planning.
My favorite was when Tom and I got pinned for like 30 or 45 minents in that tree when the allies had to attack the Germans. All I had was a Carbine with one mag, and a gas colt 45 with one mag in it, and Tom only had two mags for his colt. Ill tell you that area is had to attack, but Id like to think ours is too ;D considering our line were never breached (even when you guys did your bonzi attack ;D)
Iv got so much to say but not enough time.

lol I just tried to save my Italian comrade! I remember seeing 3 heads over the log where 29th was on the other side pinned down, and I held my gun sideways while running, and I 'sprayed and prayed' but missed all my shots. I was so pissed a sniper picked off my hand! But it was a good event, I hope it was worth it for you guys from TN. Those last Banzai charges were insane. I remember running through the smoke not seieng anything but Bunker Bob charging, I then saw him quickly fall, then I felt a rush of seering pain through my entire body. I got completely mowed down. My legs are covered in welts, I can barely see any skin that isn't red! I didn't realize how close I was to the fortification you guys had through the smoke. And then when we charged from the left flank, Bob sacrificed himself on the fence. Sean (Sp?) and I both jumped over at the same time, and we both got shot to hell. I think we both fell at the same time! It was an amazing event. I cannot wait until next time. If the events get better and better form here then we will have 100 player games in no time. Here I have a group photo. My mom didn't know how to work the camera, so sorry fro the kinda crappy shot. I know Jeff has alot more good pictures.

lol Frank, but the partisans were working with us! Which, I might add, was actually effective, and the allies had no clue! I love partisans!

I have to say, we had a great bunch of guys out for this one. I finally had the opportunity to meet Russian, Waffenman1945, & 29thereal pimps. 29th's Dad was also very generous and picked up our lunch tab! A big thank you to him once again. All in all, we have some really great guys joining the WW2AA Midwest.
A few things that I was dissappointed with were minor.
1. I personally forgot all the medic equipment. This took away from the game because I personally hate playing with the "paintball" mentality of regenerations. Not using medics also causes people to not take their hits. There WAS a lot of complaints at this event about guys not calling their hits. In one instance I witnessed an axis soldier unload 4 mags worth of bb's on an allied soldier and he refused to call himself out. This is not acceptable. We're their to enjoy ourselves and play a game, we're on the honor system and when guys refuse to "play dead" it ruins it for everyone.
2. We had some lack of communication. The allies did a great job with their fortifications, but I had to literally beg a few of them to join the group for the tactical discussions, safety rules, & scenario breifings. A few other minor "defiance" issues popped up but measures are alrady in place to avoid these in the future.
Looking forward to the next event. The talk is possibly mid November. Perhaps the last event till spring. But we'll save that for another post.

Yeah there were some communication issues, but hey at least nothing got screwed up during the game play.
And a many thanks to Cap. Zak for putting on yet another fine event, and thanks to the Rangers too for setting up a definitive US base of operations.
Oh and I have got to say the Partisans were the coolest, having those guys really added another elemant to the game, That one kid with the thompson was nuts though ;D he did some really crazy stuff. And the other partisan whos gun litterally exploded in his face, cut him up too that was crazy to see happen.

Yea, the fortifications we built were fantastic, I believe, and the laying of the telephones between the trenches was a great addition, thanks again to the Rangers for bringing that. All in all, a fantastic event, even if I had to leave mid point. Loved seeing everyone, too. We need to have another one in November...I'm already itchin for battle. Russian lol Frank, but the partisans were working with us! Which, I might add, was actually effective, and the allies had no clue! I love partisans! Wait, they were? ? What? For how long???

Well I kind of Promised the partisans their safety if I got some info from them they supplied very little, and in fact I think they lied I shot them anyways, so it doesnt matter.

Glad you enjoyed your first time Nick. We had quite a few "1st timers" at this event. Looking forward to a possible mid November event. A note on the group shot above, there were 6 guys not in that picture! We had our best turnout to date at this event.

I was going through my uniforms and such, and I found a mag in one of my pockets of my US M43 jacket. I am not sure what mag it is, but it is somewhat small and black. Ben, what gun was your friend using? Did he borrow one, becuase I have no clue what gun the mag I found is for. If anybody is missing a mag for a gun I probably have it.
Also, I am kind of for a winter game. I know gas guns don't work so well and alot of us use gas guns, but I would like to experience a winter game. Today was fricken freezing out, but the weather man says it should start getting warmer (you can't trust the weather man though). I think we should try to squeeze in at least one more game before Spring. But if not, then I have no beef, I will just have plenty of time to finish my Italian impression!

Hey is that mag kinda rectangular shaped, black, and kinda looks like you insert it like a rifle mag, because if it is it might belong to Blakes shotgun, the medic was useing the shotgun at one point and we couldnt find the other shotgun mag, so that might be it.
