I'm wondering about the upgraded rate of fire and damage to the internals. Thanks!

yes i have, and i haven't had any damage that i have noticed (opened the gearbox again last weekend and it looks fine). The motor sucks so badly (at least mine does) that the ROF doesn't increase to anything above normal. So i would guess that the motor is the only thing in danger.
