Hi I was looking at some airsoft guns and came across a Hwasan Mad Max double barrel shotgun for $200.
I was wondering if I could take this and change the stock or handle and foregrip for a more WWII look. (COD5) Could I use a real stock and mod it, or just make my own. Does anyone know where to get real steel double barrel shotgun parts?
Any help on anything would be amazing.
Thanks, Gordon

I highly suggest scrapping the entire project. You'll pay a lot and have to work a lot to make a full length double barrel shotgun which was something the US never used in ww2. All US issue shotguns were pump action, not side/side or over/under.

Oh no I want to change the stock and foregrip, and have it still be a sawed off double barrel.
I just want a different style of double barrel. Maybe even gold leaf the trigger guard.

I guess cod5 got the better of me then. But I think I'm still gonna do a double barrel even if its not WWII, and just because its bad @$$.
Sorry for the confusion and I would ask if anyone had a link to real steel double barrel parts but its not WWII. But if you want to send me a pm or something that'd be grand.
Thanks, Gordon

I have toyed with the same idea..I think it would look cool if you were doing a resistance impression..I saw some versions of the madmax gun..both 6 and 8 mm and one version with long barrel..all that has to be done is adding a stock..See if i can find'em and put up a link..

Over there they are called Luparas (any double barrel, more commonly sawn off but even a long barrel is refered to as a lupara.). They were and still may be the weapon of choice for.....anyone. Most men had one to fend off thieves, rustlers, bandits and the Caribinieri.

I still want it to be sawed off but I might go with the regular deal. I just want to take just a bland old piece of wood and turn it into a stock. And carve into the stock like kill stripes.
