Looks great! Thanks for posting those up!
To a mod: May I suggest we do the same thing will all categories of gear and post them up on the ww2airsoft.com website? It hasn't changed since I first visited their 2 years+ ago.

Adler, I had a question.. Did the fur caps ever have bevo cap insignia, or was it always the aluminum cap insignia?

This type of Fur hat wasn't meant to have a BeVo insignia on it , but sometime you see BeVo's on them .

I have had that hood since High School , so i put it on the helmet for the hell of it , i have a repro splinter cover on the way.

BTW Adler we came up with a better texture / paint job for FJR6 Normandy helmets. Somebody at some point got the wrong tan/yellow but we have it sorted out now. Also we have a good texture system now so they won't shine when they get wet.
We also primed the helmets red so when the texture wears you get that slight red primer look, like I have seen on a lot of originals.
We took a photos sequence so everyone can see. We’ll get it posted on the war department FJR6 board.

That reminds me: Crushers! I may need to post this here.
Say NO to crushers of many units! They are an uber-wunder-super-farb sign! Not bashing anyone, just posting it here, it has been on PZG.net and AHF.
HEER:
Crushers used by OFFICERS ONLY!!! Ems and NCos had a visor with a leather chincord and a vulcanfiber peak, but those were rarely used in combat, those were mostly for dress.
W-SS:
Crushers used by Officers and NCOs. Originally, a cloth peaked crusher was used by NCOs, while officer used the visor or the elather peaked cap we all know as the crusher. However, officers were known to have used the cloth peaked caps a bit and more so, NCos used the leather peaked cap, since the cloth billed ones were phased out early in the war.
Once RZM stopped making the SS items, officers could get anything they wanted from private tailors. In the SS, colored piping was used for a short period in 1940, but officers had hats made by private tailors with colored piping later on. For reenacting, it is safely kept to white to avoid Flaggrantly Wrongness.
Basically, don't use a crusher. No matter what, it's just plain Flaggrantly Wrong. Get a schirmmuetze, remove the chincord, and crush that, but avoid the leather peak/bill.
