Officially no, but unofficially yes!!
What I mean is, there are a few of us in St. Louis already doing or putting together German WW2 impressions and one or two in KC as well. We have our sites set on doing a WW2 battle in the near future. I would like to do it at a field in Mid Missouri.
Where are you?

I'm in Jefferson City so a field in Mid Missouri would work great for me.

WWII airsoft in Missouri is basically at the below ground level. Technically, I live in Kansas, but I do all my playing in Missouri, ;D Anyhow, as Sir Veilance said, there is a mere handful of guys doing anything WWII related. The lack of usable and affordable gun choices is really hampering our efforts to get anything going. The inexpensive replica uniforms have helped lower the start-up cost for guys wanting to take the WWII plunge, but there just isn't much interest from the airsoft player base. My own airsoft organization fell apart due to issues with the type of games and style being played. NOBODY wants to do anything but modern, high-speed impresions around here. The current airsoft group I run with is also modern focused and we run multicam exclusively. For my WWII fix, I've been doing blank fire reenacting. I've been selling off a lot of my replica/airsoft quality German uniforms on eBay and upgrading my gear for reenactment use.

I live in South Kansas City. On the Kansas side. But i am literally 1 minute away from state line road. I was wanting to look around for anybody in the area as well. I am doing an axis impression for my first go around. Both allied and axis will be in my arsenal for the future. I don't have it completed by any means. It is always good to see people in the same area with the same interest. I have been on the boards a long time, but just never posted any messages. I have always kept up though, and this is a passion that will never leave me.
i don't know what everyone else is doing in the area, but we could talk about possible ways to have us get a common ground on what anything could be an an impression or unit. I saw that people are starting in st. Louis, this is great.
and yes the timing of this post is outlandishly odd. 3:39 a.m. just got back from a friends place, and this is the first opportunity for me to respond. i have been getting the boards, trying to be more active with everyone else, and i was focusing on gun possibilities, impression choice, and general, glad i looked to see if there was anything on Kansas City, and the Midwest.
Hope to be talking more on the board, being more active, and to help furtherer the sport of airsoft in general, but more importantly World War II.

I'm in Olathe, so we aren't far apart at all. I'll be playing this coming Saturday, but I'll be in modern desert DPM for this game. ( my other favorite uniform) ;D The only other guy that had been doing WWII in our group just recently sold off his entire impression due to lack of interest.

I'm in Iowa, but I'd definitely be game for a German unit in Missouri. If you need any help, let me know. I might be able to find a field in Iowa if there's any interest.

damn, if i showed up to this game i get demolished, from what i hear the allies don't seem to have a strong airsofting base in missouri, i live in lee's sumit off I-70 at woods chapel road, i do british reenacting myself, i can picture it now: "winston?, winston!?! where the hell are you?!?" "oh wait, i forgot i'm the only british guy here." "but i swear by mother england i will defend this land!" (germans charge) (i shoot at you for a while then retreat) "screw mother england!"
