I am 6'1 about 300 lbs, I usually wear 2xl normal clothes and 3xl BDU/ACU's. My shoe size is 15 1/2 Wide.
Its not too hard for me to get modern kit because, my boot size is usually the highest it goes for many boot types and then there are tons I will never be able to wear. Getting Vietnam GI gear was a little difficult, but I got that straightened out after a while of hunting around.
Now I am interested in WW2 airsoft and I cannot find any authentic or repro stuff that can fit me. It doesn't matter what side i am, if I can find anything that fits me I'd be satisfied as I have friends on both sides. I really want to be U.S. Airborne if anything, but I would take anything at this point. Even somewhat period correct partisan stuff would be fine for me.
I don't have a huge budget, so I would be getting my stuff over time, but if someone can give me somewhere to start that would be excellent.

LOL Thats ok it stands for Michigan Airsoft forum. Your height and weight was just similar to a guy I talked to on there, and he also couldn't find any repro uniforms in his size and he was new to WWII Airsoft. So I assumed you might be him. lol I guess I was wrong. Sorry about that

Contact these guys. I've bought a number of items from them and they have done custom work for several people that I know of. One was a really big boy and they took care of him. stores.ebay.com/dawlong-militaria

A friend of mine is about 6'3 or so and and around your weight level as well. We just recently got him kitted out in a Waffen SS Panzer-Grenadier uniform. I was surprised how fast we managed to get it together, but we did. He got the M40 tunic and his trousers from Barry Lydon on ebay: stores.shop.ebay.com/Spearhead-MilitariaIn my experience, he is a very nice guy and always willing to accomodate you. He also answers fairly quickly. I would just send him a message about what size tunic and pants you will need and he can have them custom made for you if he does not have the correct size in stock. I have always been pleased with his quality and selection. If you can find a number of items/gear in addition to the uniform and get them at once, he will usually give a discount or at least ship them together to save on shipping. I know that they produce belts in large sizes and normal y straps seemed to work for my friend. Hessen antique makes very good gaiters and they are pretty cheap as well. They seemed to be just big enough to fit my friend. Basically, as far as German kit goes, I can pretty much guarantee you can find items that will fit you. I am also sure that the same goes for the US gear as well. In either case, you may have to wait a few weeks for the items to be custom made (usually at no added cost). The only area I can't help you with is the 15 1/2 sized boots. That's huge. From what I have seen, most repro boots only go up to size 13. That being said, I am sure they are out there (especially for US boots). If you can find US roughout boots in your size, they can also usually be used as German low boots if you aren't 100% concerned w/ ultimate accuracy. They might even custom make boots in larger sizes. If all else fails, you can probably find a pair of modern boots that look the part. This is airsoft after all and we are running around (hobnails aren't always the best option). I highly recommend Barry Lydon and Hessen Antique! Never had any problems with them. Good luck! Nick
