M14 into an SVT 40???

It would be very hard to make. Especially the front metal part and barrel.

i think the m14 internals would be the best fit, the only internal thing you would have to change would be to make a longer nozzle so you could stick the feed tube farther forward.
Also, you would have to make new magazines, as the svt's are curved a little bit, and generally different from the m14 ones.
As for the externals, the stock i would obviously recommend buying, and for the other externals, if you had a machine shop, you could make them, otherwise i would highly suggest buying them as well (although sadly you will probably need a machine shop to make them fit as well).
Overall, a toughish build, but not insurmountable.
