Hi there,
I dont want the conversion kit, but I do want a shortened magazine that wont stick out of my Classic Army m14 (now in DMR setup) as it disturbs me when crawling and as it is a hi cap mag, the bbs rattle around making sound, thus destroying my perfect stealth. Ive seen shortened mags for TM M14 and its clones, but does anynone make one for a Classic army/g&g mag?

actually, the CA/G&G M14s use completely different magazines than the TM family.

I suppose you could cut a standard CA compatible mag down and modify it, but it would be very time consuming.

You can combine the two to come up with something that works which would be both time consuming and expensive since you'd need to use a G&G or CA low cap magazine and a shotty clip. Essentially you'd disassemble a CA/ G&G low cap and cut the upper shape out. You'd then blend in the shotty clip. I've also seen this done using a blending of the upper portion of the G&G mag and a portion of a clone Marui VSR 10 mag. In this event you end up with roughly 24 rounds which has its advantages.
A lot of work and not the easiest transition. I have a G&G modified M14 which is a really great shooter and has a gorgeous all wood stock but until I do up some flush mounted clips I don't feel like I can sell it as a true Garand conversion. One of many projects I just don't seem to get to but will one day.
