Kar 98 parts

I started a Kar98 project, mostly because I've had an old, beat up stock that came off a worn out Chinese Kar98 sitting in the garage for years. I started inletting the stock to take an AGM VSR10 but I've got other projects I'm more interested in and I doubt I'd use the kar98 if I finished it. If anyone's interested in taking this stuff off my hands, pm me and let's talk.

I've got the stock. It's been degreased and partially sanded. Needs some repair work around the buttplate. Also has a small burned patch ahead of the magazine. I was going to leave it as "battle damage" but it could be filled in. I also have a triggerguard and floorplate, new upper handguard, uppr barrel band and spring. Don't have the lower band. Also have the old Chinese barrel with front and rear sights.

Well, this is disgusting. I just packaged everything up and ran down to the UPS store. When I said "gun parts" they said I had to go to the UPS hub. So I go to the UPS hub. When I said "gunparts" they said "We can't ship them except to or from a FFL dealer". Is this for real? It's a piece of wood and some bits of metal that came off a gun. What's really bizarre is, they do ship Airsoft BB guns. So I suppose if I finished this project I could call it an Airsoft BB gun (which it would be) and they'd ship it.

The world is insane.
