I've got a WE Luger that arrived recently. It's great fun, but I have a bit of a question:
The gun was working great yesterday but tonight I noticed something: on the final shot, the toggle doesn't always pop back and stay back. Instead it sometimes just cycles as normal, even though I just fired the last shot. When I dry fire, it seems to sit back and stay back. Does anyone know what would cause this behavior?

When you dry fire it and it locks back is it the 1st shot after you gas it up? My guess is there just isn't enough gas left after that last bb to lock it back.

No actually it's the last shot.
I'll fire off a mag or part of a mag on a full fill. I count off my shots and when I know I've reached the last round, the gun still cycles as normal. The dry fire came the shot after the final round, and it stuck back. It's done this a couple of times and I know my counting is on. I had full gas when I did this and didn't fire off a whole magazine to make sure I wasn't short on gas. It's puzzling to me.
Other than that issue, the gun is a lot of fun, though the gun generally pulls right a bit (not severe). But considering it's a fairly new gun it ought to be set and without problems.

I'll throw this out there:
I've been following the filling instructions on the Green Gas can: hold can upside down, and apply to the mag filler until the can stops making noise inside (can hear a creaking until it finally stops a few seconds later). Is this improper? I've heard some people "shake" the green gas can before filling, though I've found no specific reference to doing this and have avoided doing so. I've also heard of people using a method of 2 or 3 2 second "jabs" for filling rather than simply filling until the can stops making noise.
Perhaps I'm miss filling? I have enough gas in the mag because it fires with regular power for around 25 shots. But I wonder if I should change filling practice. Any help?

Remember that the "gas" is actually a liquid while in the can and mag. I just turn the can upside down and fill the mag untill it sprays out of the valve a little. I don' t know why it's not locking back, if it's new then the catch probally isn't worn. I know with my WE 1911 I always had issues getting it to lock back when out of BBs.

Sometimes it happends due to the stopping lever is bent (especialy using green gas) and it misses the stop. Just bend it a little, and everything will be good with the gun

I don't have the gun in front of me, but off hand, I'm not sure which part is the "stopping lever", what does it look like? I'll also check the manual diagram for it, but a little guidance is much appreciated as to which part this is. Thanks again.

Doesn't look like a bent part-- seems to be a loading issue. The gun can be loaded a couple of ways:
1. cock the gun, release the toggle. Now slide the mag in. This was the method that led to trouble- the gun consistently refused to lock back on the final shot. The gun occasionally also "double" shot-- firing two very quick shots in a single trigger pull, after loading with this method.
2. Cock the gun, but HOLD the toggle back all the way. As you hold it back with one hand, slide the mag in with the other. Once the mag has locked in, release the toggle. Using this method, so far (knock on wood), the gun has not "double quick shot" and has locked back on the final shot every time.
I'll continue to use the latter load method, so long as it works.

The gun is still shooting to the right a bit, it has always done that since I got it.
It's a WE Luger, but the toggle and everything are up and running correctly now. What would cause the gun to shoot right of the sight?
