Is a m2 carbine period ww2? Wiki says so (1944) but I want to check with you guys. Could I get away with using it at the next game?

the RPD was also made in 1944, but not many people consider that a WWII weapon. My knowledge of allied weapons is rather slim.

Not in the ETO but perhaps late in the PTO as a conversion kit to the M1. I think you are asking if the Marushin model is of WW2 design and the answer is it could be if 15 round mags become available, currently all available magazines are all 30 round type for the Marushin. The 30 round mag was not available until after WW2.
So I guess the answer in no, not WW2

I don't know of any event organizers that would disallow it's use at their event and I certainly wouldn't . Technically it is not correct with it's 30 round banana clip and bayonet lug. Of greater concern is it's reliability as a skirmish weapon. They are reportedly pretty problematic as are most gas blow back rifles.

Well I want a new gun for the next Skrimish and I was thinking of getting a M1 carbine but I can't find any. A Briwning 30 cal. would be nice but again hard to find. Any ideas anyone? I already have the cyber thompson.

I was kicking around buying one. The magazines that Airsoft GI has are 16-rounders, so that is accurate, but they're still banana. It got pretty good reviews, nothing about being too problematic.

Does the M1 carbine mags fit in the M2 or are they completely different gas systems?
